In Episode 8 of Unlocking the Miracles Within, Barry Robbins—Vice President at ITP International and founding member of the Evolutionary Sports Collective—invites us to discover how movement itself can become a living prayer.
Barry shares how breath, simple intentional motions, and “hara” (core) awareness help us embody the Divine, not just think about it. He explains the power of “knowing and respecting the edge” so our practice remains both safe and transformative. Along the way, he introduces a short guided practice that helps us give a body to our divinity and closes with three grounded takeaways you can use in daily life.
This conversation is rich with warmth, wisdom, and a playful reminder: your body is a sacred vessel, a direct line to God’s presence.
What you’ll learn in this episode:
-
Why your body is the truest “first responder” to what is real.
-
How to honor safety vs. stretch: respecting your edge.
-
A simple breath-and-awareness practice to embody the Divine.
-
Barry’s 3 daily lenses: Body • Mind • Heart • Soul—plus the power of community.
-
A glimpse into Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar, a classic text that shaped Barry’s approach to movement and spiritual practice.
